So after a few years (quite a few) i'm getting a bike again.
I'm looking at Cruisers and could use some advice..my first candidate would be an XVS650 Yamaha, after some reading it seems an okay bike for restarting, as it's not too crazy on power, etc.

The main question is should i get this or look for the 1100 maybe. Other suggestions are welcome too.
I'm 6" and about 190lbs

Hi

My Stepson had an XVS650 for neigh on 8 years, good reliable bike, nice and comfy, he's now changed it for a Honda VTX1300. I know from experience, the VTX1300 is a cracking bike, if you don't want to go so big, then a VTX750 would be a good choice.

I've currently got a Hyosung ST7, nice bike to ride, could do with footboards though, as the foot pegs aren't the most comfortable.

My brother returned to biking a couple of years ago and got an XVS650.

(and he's a similar height and weight to you)

He seems happy with it. I think the last bike he had before that was a 1971 Triumph Daytona Very Happy
