In the attached photograph, it shows a headlight removed from the fairing and in the centre cirlce bit... there is 3 prongs. Headlight, sidelight and high beam i believe.

The issue i have is the previous owner has cut the connection blocks off my wiring loom so i have to crimp my wires (indicators, neutral, etc etc) together to make connections. So far so good.

My question is - rather than feed the copper wire through the little holes on those prongs and try and loop them or something, and hope they stay in there (thus meaning my headlight continues to work) can i buy a connector so i can fasten the wires to that, then just plug into the connection on back of headlight case

You mean this:

In fact I probably have one somewhere.

Yes! I'd just have to crimp the existing 3 wires onto the wires connected to that, and plug it in.

Thanks!

Last time I did this I didn't have a crimper so I simply soldered them on and covered them in shrinktube and electrical tape.
