At least one of you is getting 6 years for hate-stereotyping. Tut Tut

I think a "homeless" jakey may have decreased the surplus population by just lying down and expiring right outside the door to the local Tesco today. Granted, it still had a smouldering dog-end clamped in its blue lips, and it didn't have much of a life to start with.

Folk were just stepping over it, a traffic warden was standing next to its head giving directions, and a Diversity even put her shopping bag down on its still warm sleeping bag to re-arrange it. Never prouder of humanity. Thumbs Up

Think yourself lucky. Down here in sunny MK he would have been robbed of everything before he got cold. Actually, probably before he croaked even.

Pretty sad state of affairs if you can't communicate on a decent level and have to use a ridiculous offensive hard man facade.

It's attention seeking behaviour, otherwise he'd blend into the background. I don't think he's actually like that in real life, which seems to have been confirmed by those who have met him.

I do find internet personas interesting though... which's the real person Thinking

Yes and no. If you're using wi-fi it's free, if you're using your mobile network you'll be eating into your data allowance, and will probably be charged if you go over it.

I just went back to GiffGaff - £10 p/m unlimited calls/texts, 3GB data rising to 4 after 3 months. The only thing I'm nervous about is last time I was with them the 4G signal (o2 network) was shit.

Get whatsapp installed! Their version of facetime is definitely free 100% of the time on there and doesn't rely on the
other person having an iphone. PM me your number and I'll add you to my mailing list for some amusing pics and vids. Wink
You'd be surprised how many of your contacts list are already on there, I certainly was. Obviously it's only free 100% when
connected to (anyones) wifi, if you use mobile data, it will eat up your allowance.

So, been trying to find out what's wrong with my wrist watch which is slightly fast, yet set by the atomic clock. Then noticed that my phone is fast also, and they are both ahead of DAB radio, and time signal on DAB and time signal on FM.

Turns out that the atomic clock is 37 seconds ahead of UTC because unlike UTC it and GPS have never had leap seconds applied.

It's true, I've not seen you this happy in ages.

Especially when we got to a set of lights and you're all like "I LOVE THIS BIKE!!"

Im still grinning at the sheer lunacy of being allowed a 200mph bike.

Oh, the nerd-fight we had over whether our datetime input validation should allow 23:59:60.

I prevailed as it's technically correct. All together now...

You should be able to switch mobile data off completely in your settings. Not that I've ever used an iphone as such.

You can. If you drag the screen up (swipe finger from bottom to top) a quick menu appears, and on here you can turn on and off WiFi / Bluetooth / Mobile Data and turn on Airplane mode. You have the volume and brightness settings in there as well.

The one thing to remember is that there is an option somewhere that uses mobile data if your wifi is ropey. I was wondering why my data usage was getting raped every month. Turns out that my home wifi is dodgier than a Fazer weld-job.

I was being sarcastic, I don't know anything about iphones apart from they are expensive and include features which Android had for 2 years.

I have a 160gb ipod classic and that's it. I don't get the hype. But I'm not really an android fanboi either. Wifey bought
me a sim free Nokia 6 last Christmas, it does me. I don't use a quarter of the features but it does what I need it to.
