Be careful you don't inject fuel into your body.
I haven't a scooby what controls that system.
Basic control is a pump sending fuel to the injector.
The injector being closed creates a pressure controlled by a relief valve.
The ecu sends current to the injector to open it.
Fuel sprays out.
(There can be more control on more sophisticated systems.)
So you could have:
A bad pump. (A PUMP CREATES FLOW IT DOES NOT CREATE PRESSURE.)
Bad fuel supply to injector/s (filter as said).
Bad relief valve. (CONTROLS PRESSURE.) Some pumps do not have a relief valve and output pressure is limited by the spring that drives the pump plunger. Max pressure is when the spring gets compressed and no longer moves the plunger.
Bad ECU. Bad power supply, earth, wet and all the other et ceteras. ____________________ Disclaimer: The comments above may be predicted text and not necessarily the opinion of MCN. |

Turn ignition on, listen for the pump priming for about 1-2 seconds. If it doesn't then either the pump is dead, the fuse is blown of the alarm is fubar.
If it has an alarm/immobiliser - suspect that first! ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
