Has anybody got one or used one? They seem a great idea, without any need for a battery as such and no need to keep charging up a conventional heavy battery jump starter.
The principal is that a flat battery can be started by it's own remaining power by charging the capacitors and then that charge being reversed back to the battery to provide a surge of power to start the engine.

I have a lithium ion unit at work, it stays charged for months , is a a touch smaller than a vhs cassette and can jump start a transit.
was about £80 from a company called nightsearcher |
