Are they really the right choice for a commuter? That's like wearing a 1 piece race suit to go to the pub in.

It works with the rest of the layering system from Knox. I have the Action armoured shirt with the Kenton jacket which I wear in the summer. I find that a cooler, more comfortable combination to my RST textile jacket which I wear in winter. No issues with crumpled shirts if you size it right. Not sure about pairing it with your existing heated gear.

P.S. - they do a cold killer which you can wear over or instead if you are cold waiting for your train.

I wouldn't buy Knox anything.
The gloves bought two years ago disintegrated after only about three months.
Shite.

I wouldn't even give them the benefit of the gloves being one pair from a bad batch.
I think it is a case of, 'We can make more money if we sell more assortment rather than make less stuff properly.'
The director needs a kicking.

Thank you for the view, MCN, it gives me some insight into the product - I personally wondered how come Knox has some much gear with fantastic reviews and I don’t see bikers using any of the staff except armour
Was it your only purchase or you had experience with their other staff? I have/had three products from Tucano Urbano and, while I like how nice the kit looks like and how convenient it is in use, I find the quality is low and support is non-existent if bought outside the UK
