That's great! I've a couple of old AMC-type things, a Russian, a Triton bitsa, and bringing up the rear a Fizzy! 
Didn't realise it was a 40-year exemption. Better get some maintenance done 
Edit: Last time I took an AJS (no, NOT that sort!) for an MOT, the chap complained aboyt play in the wheel bearings. Erm, they are *supposed* to be like that. He took a bit of convincing. So, it's good! |

For those of us who have a bit to go, there's nothing really onerous in the new test. The racebike was in today, and took 25 rather than the usual 20 minutes. But then again, only about 4 minutes of that is the actual test, and the rest is banter, or in this case me sitting in the sun reading my Kindle while they ran out DVSA's clock.
Change your brake fluid, is all I'd suggest.

Ditto, Had the pan in yesterday. Mate went to back for few mins. then spent 25mins looking at a harley and taking the piss and chatting, then checked my tyres, brake lights and brake and jobs jobed, see you next year.
