I'd like to say it won't make an appearance again, but the bastard varnished it, so once it's chipped by stones it will show through. Laughing

Had a day out on the lanes yesterday. It's surprisingly good offroad, for such a lump. Bit vague, but overall not bad!

Think the air screw needs a tweak, but overall fairly happy.

34 days to go and house just gone up for rent. Here, if anyone's interested in what I do when I'm not pissing about with bikes!

https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent/property-54267555.html

Just installed a dynojet kit as I wasn't happy with how it was running. Ridiculous expensive for a needle and a few drill bits and shims, but it's way more responsive and quicker now. Will set the airscrew another turn out tomorrow and that should be job done!

House is rented, they move in this weekend.

Bike is complete, bar making a bracket to sandwich the water container on the back. It gets shipped on the 29th.

I'm off on a 450 mile shakedown run to Padstow and back tomorrow/Friday.

Here's the donkey as it stands.

Yep, 350 mile range.

I've also started making a list of things to do. The first one on the list is finger Avril Lavigne.

Laughing is there space on this journey.

I have a query, how do you get said bike to destination, just on a container ship and you pick up at other end?

It's on a roll on roll off container ship.

Just turn up with the bike and shipping note, empty luggage and not much fuel in the tank and keys in the ignition.

I used HC travel, they've been brilliant.

How longs the journey on the boat, assuming you are flying there and meeting your pride and joy at the port.

Bike shipped.

Not without issues.

DVLA have done fucked up and put a z instead of a 2 on the V5 vin. Have contacted Yamaha who are going to send me out a letter which I can then send with pics to the DVLA.

That won't happen in two weeks though so I need to get some special clearance bollocks to allow me to get it through customs.

Not a great day tbh

My best friend done LA to Alaska through Canada last year with his best friend, to say the least I was so jealous.

Be sure to pop some photos up, will you have something like Instagram to follow your adventure on?
