Hi all,

Just looking for some advice on a decent tyre choice for the DRZ. I would say my riding will be 50/50 road/offroad.

I have done a bit of research on other forums but most of it is American and recommending tyres not available in the UK.

I've looked at the Pirelli MT21 and am tempted as they're supposed to have excellent grip both on and off-road, and don't seem horrifically expensive. Only issue for me is supposedly the rear does not last long.

Does anyone have any experience with the MT21, or have any other suggestions?

Thanks

Alex

I've used them on a couple of bikes. Yes, they may be softer than some, but grip wise on road, they're very good. Off road, anything but mud or wet grass is possible. I am however thinking of trying conti tkc 70s next time I get a road bias trail tyre.
