I cant see the pictures probably because of restrictions in my office network but if you can get something like a 2m Almax or a Pragmasis noose chain and wrap it around the tree it should be ok

You could always combine it with another chain, perhaps a 13mm or 11mm, an alarmed disc lock and a tracker. All under cover of course.

What motorbike are you looking to secure?

I created a similar thread couple of days ago and the setup i've described above is pretty much what i use now... 16mm chain in tailpack and 13mm in backpack and a tracker on the bike. One hopes this level of security will be a sufficient deterrent Thinking

A simple raspberry pi based dual camera (normal and noir camera) setup would be a bonus in your situation.

I was thinking an economical yet powerful home made cctv setup would be a deterrent. Aren't we told that the more lines of defence we have the better the odds are of our bikes being left alone?

Isnt the chap's flat overlooking the parking lot or did i imagine that? Smile

I don't know if you've seen stuff in the news and all over youtube but bike thieves don't give a fuck about CCTV.

Indeed i have mate and it is most depressing that they dont give a toss about cctv or the general public filming them.

One hopes that cctv will put off the low level thief and multiple physical deterrents will put off the more committed ones and if nothing works hopefully the tracker will pay for itself.

What else can one do other than stand next to the bike with a shotgun?

A camera looking out of his window isn't going to put anyone off, mostly because they won't know that they're on camera.

Yeah, that video of the woman (?) filming from a window above while scrotes attack the locks and no doubt eventually steam the bike...

I could just rape the cunts and give them a nice dose of arse injected death syndrome! Laughing But i'd be more likely to do jail time, than the "poor little ainjuls aint done nuffink rong" vermin.
