Can't seem to find the free stuff thread. I await the sirens and karma bashing..

I have a yoshi exhaust for an ER6 F/N. Needs collecting from Bristol.

Free to a good home.

When I 'invested' over £800 for this, I promised the wife I would be able to sell it for good money.. literally can't give it away! Laughing

It's bin day tomorrow, bumpy last chance.

Give it a clean, crack out the brasso, and then whack it on eBay, surely it will sell on there

Stick it on a buy it now for sensible money for 30 days. 100 quid seems reasonable. Make it 110 with free postage. Someone will click it at 2am after a few beers. Auto relist until it's gone. If you can't be arsed I'll take it and split whatever I get 50/50with you.

For the most part, to get ok money for bike parts tend to need a person specifically looking for an item otherwise things end up going for a cheap price.

For a yoshi exhaust, you are much better listing a buy it now price which is more than it's worth. Then keep dropping it until it sells. I wouldn't do an auction for that exhaust.

I reckon you could get a conservative £100 for that if you clean it up, if not more.

I'm really surprised you're struggling to sell it. I'd have had it off you in
a minute if I still had er6. I agree with eBay buy it now. They don't come up often but plenty of folk will want one.

Will have it if it's going for free. The OH has an ER6N with an OEM exhaust on it. She's often in Bristol for work, so she may well be able to pick it up.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Fisty wins!

Will post again if I come across anything else, I’m having a bit of a clear out.

Thanks for the advise too, BIN sounds like it would have been a better way to sell it.

I’ve also got a spare lid and some boots ‘somewhere’. Will let you know.
