Hi Guys,

Just want your thoughts on this Monday I was visiting a mate in Donegal Ireland I got run of the road last october in the same area which the police attended,I was pulling out of a junction turning right and a Garda car was on my left turning left as soon as I turned out he changed direction and pulled me over, the officer asked for my driving licence and sat in his car for 5 mins I then noticed my keys were not in the ignition he then came out and just says "iv got them" so he obviously swiped them when I was going through my wallet to get my licence,I asked why I had been stopped and he says "Remember me" which i replied "no should I" he then says he was the officer that attended my accident last year and then goes onto say that my blood test came out positive for narcotics which is bullshit as I received documents saying that both alcohol and Narcotics came back negative which I explained to him and I have never done drugs in my life and why would I risk that on a new fireblade which I have put alot of money into he then searches at the side of the road for narcotics and asks me to remove my passenger seat Rolling Eyes .He then takes my phone number and address which I don't understand as they already have this otherwise I would not of received the results from the bloods and says " we need to deal with this" and I will receive a phone call or a letter through the post summoning to court, He then starts making general conversation how the bike is running and how I am finding it and then gives me my keys back and lets me go.

Mad

any thoughts?? was he just being a cunt?

If he had the slightest suspicion that you were a drug user then he'd have done the roadside drugs wipe test thing.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over what he said.

If I was the Garda then I would have been up your erse with a pre-lubed truncheon too.
Only Catholics ride Fireblades.

Very Happy

Forget it.
Or if you have some anxiety about it you could maybe ask your local PoPo to run a check on your erse. (Fee)
I don't know if the Garda speak to UK the Ploddery but nothing lost.

Except you will be on UK computer too NOW. Smile

Are you Irish or a Brit?

If you are Irish he probably doesn't like bikers.

If you are a Brit, he probably doesn't like Cromwell.

Hicks gotta hick. Laugh it off, he can play the biggest truncheon game all he wants, but unless he's actually going to fite you up with something, what's going to come of it?

He's going to fit you up next time though.

The Irish plod rarely have the equipment for road side drug testing nor the brains to use same equipment due to being pished or stoned themselves, you would be in Portlaoise by now if they had anything on you.

There's a comma missing in there.

That was sort of the point. There is also an unnecessary capitalisation.

That's debatable. If you are using Muthafukka as a given name it should be capitalised.

In what circle of hell would 'Muthafukka' be anyone's given name? Laughing

True fact, my great grandad was the first ever Garda Síochána.

Not really of much relevance, but I don't get to wheel it out often so I'll mention it where I can Laughing
