A chainsaw?

It's going to come to that sooner or later. 4% and falling.

They're still up. In another 5 months, they be given non-custodial sentences which they'll laugh off as badges of honour-among-thieves.

We simply have to kill them. Nothing else will stop them.

If we restricted that to the acid / machete / knife wielding scum I'd support you in that. It would stop in a minute if we had a televised execution of half a dozen of them being tipped off a bench with a noose around their necks. Short drop preferably - no need to make it quick is there?

I'm surprised how supine the Brits are in putting up with this shit in the face of police / court inaction without rising up and doing something about it themselves. It's not as if nobody in the areas where this is happening knows who is at the root of it.

CCTV and crime. I'd suggest that the major effect of CCTV now is to produce shock footage like this which might actually get something done. Although I wouldn't be astonished if it was prosecuting the Gammon Avengers for carrying offensive weapons.

We simply have to kill them. Nothing else will stop them.

Police warned motorists to be aware of the latest ploy after they were called when a cab was boxed in on Chelsea Embankment by two riders pretending to be undercover officers.

Both had fitted their helmets with blue flashing lights, which they switched on as they pulled alongside the car taking American tourists back to their hotel in Battersea at about 1.40am last Friday.

Would I openly admit to doing so, one person on here has, and he's a very naughty boy.

Who knows... Whistle

I heard about some device which you can attach to your helmet and it makes a deafening screeching sound so that could be used as a weapon. Wink

"The Met police are using new tactics to deal with moped crime, including decoy bikes, identifying sprays and remote-controlled puncture spikes."

Rolling Eyes

Those new tactics have been in use for a while now, has anyone heard of them being used successfully?

It's not a rational choice up this way yet.

Who knows what will be part and parcel of city life tomorrow though.

Not something anyone really wants to admit to, get involved in or feel the need for generally. But if your going out expecting to get hijacked or be assaulted at parking locations on a regular basis, then your going to be suspicious and on edge or expecting violent confrontation.

I'd certainly not want to be carrying round a generic sharp stabby thing, as you don't know what your going to be faced with, so I think anything short of something that goes bang when you press a trigger will likely come up short.

I'd think very good insurance and maybe dare I say it a camera would be the best thing to have. With un-predictable and extreme violent attacks by the scum using all kinds of weapons you can't predict, I'd simply have a generic replaceable bike, and only fight back if your being robbed or assaulted and have no other option to get away or get help.

I don't think there is much point. A useful sized blade concealed is too much faff, by the time you have it ready it's probably game over.

The problem is you guys in these urban shiteholes are prey. Only way to fix the problem is to become the ones setting the ambushes but I don't think that'll happen. If it did happen I bet the old bill would find 200 times the resources to track you all down than they do currently to go after the scum preying on people now.

I think it's just time to Nuke Britain from orbit.

Not sure what to use by way of weapon on my bike that I could explain as having a valid reason . I have a lovely flick out/extendable police baton in my car, which is there in case I need to break window in emergency- car rolls/crashed and door won't open, or end up in a river Wink

On my bike....? Would probably have to just start swinging bombs. I wouldn't be able to let someone just ride off on it insured or not. I'd cut you open and bath in your blood over a £5 tbf, over principal of nothing else. Yeah the attitude may get me macheted to the head but I'd rather go down fighting.

FYI, mere ownership of those is about to be criminalised.
