What would happen if you just went ahead and swapped then told them about it as a fait accompli?

They would regard op as being the tenant still, then start procedures to end the tenancy, probably as soon as 3weeks and 1day continued absence, and treat the issue, broadly speaking, as "illegal" subletting

Breach contract, basically.

And having made two families homeless and thus eligible for housing, what then?

This is an honest question, I genuinely have no idea how idiotic socialists are prepared to be.

Most likely outcome The local authority would say that both families are "intentionally homeless" and so have no statutory duty to house them,

Overcrowding rules apply to children at age 1 and 11, so if your in a place and want a move then the child has to be at that age and no other in order to fit the criteria.

Finding other peoples neglected half arsed work on an otherwise reliable bike.

FR indicator started flashing weakly so disconnected it and ACF-50'd the connector only to notice the eletrical tape and looked underneath to find this;

https://s8.postimg.cc/54py02qsl/indic.jpg

From what you can't see it's basically the two ends of the wire, and housing, connected to a piece of metal -- probably welded -- to form an electrical connection. Unlike when I had problems with the rear, then, there are no connectors of any form; poor show.

Probably pop down and pay local shop twenty-five, again, to get it fixed; might grill them about the weird noise, too.

Not idiotic at all. The family with child require a 2 bedroom or will within a year so the swop isn't allowed as the onus then falls on the HA/LA to rehome.

From memory, so i could well be wrong, children under 11 count as half a person, and are expected to share with opposite sex if need be.

Then they can deal with that now, or then.

In the meantime, why make two people unhappy for no reason? There are no losers here.

Remember, the bureaucracy will expand to meet the needs of the expanding bureaucracy. Common sense doesn't come into it.

I feel more sorry for her than myself.

It would have been very nice/convenient/comfortable for me to be moving ... but her support network is mostly in East London, poor thing, she's only 21, this place would have been ideal for her.

I was looking forward to moving into her manor, but what annoys me the most is that this is hardly a desirable area, she was one of the few who were desperate to move into it (go figure) - I'll struggle to find someone so motivated again Rolling Eyes

Yes that is correct, Unless the parents address the issue when the child is aged 1 then until it reaches 11 or until another child reaches 1 or 11 then they have to sleep together even if they are opposite sex.

I listened to that station by accident yesterday, I switch from Radio 4 to Radio 2 most afternoons, timing is crucial, as I don't wish to listen to either Jeremy Vine, nor the Archers, but in my haste to change stations I got Radio1xtra. Eek. It was worse than the time my dad took me to Asda, rather than Waitrose, but for my ears rather than my taste buds

I'm intrigued as to what the radio equivalent of Aldi would be?

Heart FM.
Actually, that's doing Aldi a disservice.

Anyway, popped into my local co-op this morning to find they had no milk.
I asked if they had any out back.
No and the next delivery would be until tomorrow.

What kind of arsery?

Could be worse. You could have bought four bags worth of shopping, only to be told at the till that they had no bags.

Rear tyre has almost worn out after almost 3000 miles, don't think it will last my france trip next week. At the time of fitting it I thought I'd get a lot more than this and that it would only be nicely worn in for the france trip, not completely worn out.

I placed an order for another one today but delivery isn't expected until after I leave. I may have to order another with faster delivery and then go through the right ballache of changing the fucker.

Popped into Sports Direct to buy new t shirts, picked up 3 for £11, got
home and realized one shirt was a 4XL... Also bought 2 for £10 different
brand but they are a bit small for XL. Bugger!
