done some more testing today

impluse coil 290ohms spec is 250
charging coil 745ohms spec is 730
generating coil 615ohms spec is 600

coil primary 0.6ohms and secondary 5.11k ohms

also im getting 0 volts to the coil with the ignition on and i get a static 0.22v while the starter button is pressed and when i let go it goes back to 0v

anyone have a guess why im getting no spark?

have you done any painting ??

you have a manual and a wiring diagram ?? so you know a bit more as to what type of ign system you have.

ac volts outputs from stator ?? res values seem close to spec......

some "lt" output to the ht coil, but no spark at the plug, you have a red noen plug cap that flashes when ht goes thru it, much more reliable than just resting the plug on the engine when testing.......can be used when actually riding the bike and you can "see" the flash in the dark. Engine stats to play up like its running out of fuel AND flashes are intermitent, ign system fault....example.

Have you any safety cut out switches that can kill the spark only?
