Stretching out old leathers

So being out the saddle for 5 years and buying a panigale I decided to book a trackday before trying on any of my old gear .

I've gained a few pounds since then , both good and bad weight .

Chest area is biggest concern , the rest I can deal with .

Only thing I've found that works to make leather stretch is getting it soaked and wearing it.

It’s generally not really possible unfortunately. Leather doesn’t stretch at all. The only real options are modification or new leathers. Or lose weight...

You might gain a fraction here or there, but leather is one of the least stretchy materials, which is one of the reasons it’s so good for protection.
