MCN is a member.

Do we really need to see the results? Cwnstabl Heddlucase will deliver his very bloodiest stories of kitteh karnage, small plates will be linked to funding terrorism, and it will be "thought provoking" and an "interesting perspective".

I've always suspected that bcf member MCN rides with filth.

Policeman officers will have had many friendly educational chats with people rather than handing out tickets.

The MCN person will be all impressed by how the police are genuine bikers. Photos will be taken, people who were subjected to the educational chats will be seen being a friendly biker bro with the police biker bro.

One of the cops has a Yamasaki GSXR Fireblade RR so we know he's cool.

Not pictured, Welsh Bikelife being given friendly educational chats.

This is why I try to avoid North Wales, if I'm honest.

I live here. The Brunstrom legacy lives on, albeit under a less public spotlight. Most of NWP Traffic *hate* bikes. Some are ok, but they'll happily ticket the fuck out of you and move onto the next mobile cashpoint, sorry, biker.

Can't they see there is a massive PR issue here? They are all out ticketing loud cans, small plates and dark visors. Meanwhile be-trackied scum angle grind chains and disc locks in broad daylight in cities as there is an epidemic in motorcycle theft.

Can't they see that they look like morons going after low hanging fruit? Even if there IS a safety element to this (which I don't personally believe), can't they see that they just look like kafkaesque servants of a society that doesn't focus on the real criminal, but prosecutes those with the cash to pay for the fines? How can they claim that the gubbermint is holding back vital resources when they do this, but don't catch burglars or bike thieves?

It. Just. looks. bad.

I live and work in the North of Wales. Weekend warriors are huge problem over here. At the weekend from around 6am, the road I live on, is alive with the scream of race cans every time there's no forecast of rain. I've never had an issue with the the old Heddlu myself, but I ride like a Grandad for the most part. Stick to the mountain roads with no population and ride like a dick all you want, they're very self policing. Ride too fast, crash into the valley and you die. Very few repeat offenders.

I used to go at 6am across the border 15years ago with those race can screamer types. But that was in another time/life when the roads and traffic were workable.

Where is there that weekend warriors can go for some balls out quiet road thrashing in todays biking?
North Scotland? I thought the Police here were very hard and heavy handed to bikers. What say Roger?

East Anglia? Takes forever to get there, it's full of immigrants, and the roads are straight flat but still deadly? No thanks I've wasted enough of the precious juice travelling into this landscape of animals.

South coast? Always busy, tons of tourists and dozy sightseeing drivers, roads that are too small and tight for 30bhp let alone your CBGSXFZRR.

You can see why they all used to flock to the Welsh rural north.

We have (Arguably) the best combination of roads, scenery and places to chill between blasts in the UK. On my favourite route I can go under the UK's 3rd tallest mountain, past a sodding great lake, do some motorway screaming, and have nice sweeping A roads and some decent B roads, with plenty of places to grab a drink or snack, look at other bikes.

The only real downsides are the dibble and the propensity for the weather to be a bit moist.
