Even my Enfield insurance was expensive this year Doh!

I'm paying more for that than I was in 2009 for a CBR 600 as a new ish rider. Unbelievable - ghast flabbering, etc.

My 350 bullet has always been my most expensive bike to insure too. My VFR750 is cheaper.

Perhaps they get crashed a lot? Wouldn't surprise me, they are tricky to ride if you're not used to them.

Going to need to have a specialist policy this time round for my hot bullet. Needs to be an agreed value and is modified. I'm hoping to get all three bikes on the same policy. Not sure how much I'm going to get bummed for that.

I expect deep penetration, sans reach-around, with tears (both meanings) at the end.

My Bullet is still half the cost of the KTM but that's to be expected - it's bright freaking orange and goes brap brap brap.

You'd think, but then my mate who has a Q-plate Ural fitted with a 1.9l turbo diesel VW engine says his policy isn't all that bad. COuple of hundred quid. He called to let them know he'd fitted a turbo engine instead of the normally aspirated one and they didn't add anything.

I'll be sure and let folks know how it goes.

Does anyone know if this stuff actually happens

It happens with flights, it'll happen with insurance.

Chrome/Firefox/Russian shit, incognito mode and close it fully after each test, use a different name and house number. Done.

Just tried this... Same details, different name, flat next door, didn't input the bike's number plate... Gave me a quote that was £200 more than what I've currently been getting.

Rent garage in different postcode. Don't put security chain on it. Also, your name says provisional if they check you out on DVLA!

Have you got a good credit rating?

Yep, it's all good.

Double checked the quote on the duke for this month and it's gone up by £20 -_-

Still yet to call up a few places, but I'm waiting until I pass my A2 next week before I start doing that. Everyone I speak to is amazed I'm getting such ridiculous quotes.

That's why it was 200 quid cheaper when you put your actual details in. You were able to be successfully credit checked and discounted as a result of the score.
