Hello, it will soon be mot time and I need to fix one of the two side light bulbs, on a Keeway RKS 125 side light bulbs.

I removed the indicator panels on the left and right of the headlight a total of four screws.

I removed two screws on the rear of the headlight that.

The headlamp lens seems to be well attached ?

But do I have to remove the headlight front lens to get at the bulbs, or do I have to remove the whole headlamp to take it apart ?

Well am still not sorted out but doing more research why are motorcycle headlight and side light bulbs so awkward to replace.

I thought there was an EU ruling that bulbs had to be replaceable at the roadside ?

If anyone knows about this keeway rks bulb ?

Yes thank you, it might well be that way at least for the main/dip headlamp bulb.

I was just trying to limit how much I have to take apart.

If anyone knows how to change a keeway rks sidelight bulb ?

Can you get your phone in behind and take a couple of (flash) pics ... it might give you an idea of what you are trying to get your fingers on!

If you can't find a manual online try asking Keeyway, or just ask a dealer. It can't be rocket science!

Failing that, there's probably some easy way of taking a big piece of plastic off.

When you find how to do it, do post a write-up! Smile

Will let you all know, what seems surprising is each model of bike is so different and such hard work to reach the bulbs which are normal service items.

If anyone knows how to change a keeway rks sidelight bulb ?

Solution.

remove the 4 cross head screws that attach the front indicators and plastic headlamp shroud,

remove single 10mm bolt below headlamp.

remove with allen key ignition switch shroud.

beneath shroud remove two 10mm headlamp top fixing bolts.

pull headlamp forwards.

see 2 5watt 501 sidelight bulbs.

assembly is a lot slower to get everything back correctly.
