hi,
i cant remember what a shadow 125 sounds like with stock exhausts, but imho, twin cylinder 125 4t's are amongst the few 4t 125's that actually sound half decent (im thinking of bikes like the varadero and...erm...wasnt the hyosung gt a twin?)
tbh i reckon 99% of 4t 125's sound....just crap (if thats even important) & fitting bigger/wider/louder pipes is just gonna make a heavy & underpowered bike even less powerful & slower, no?
just to make a noise that people are gonna hear more than you.
i dont get it......(although i may contradict myself later)
ime people (especially those who dont ride motorbikes or do, but have never been through the derestricted 125 2 stroke phase) that say 125's sound like hairdryers are thinking of scooters or 2 strokes.
the sound of a high revving 2t when its at its peak is a sound you either love or hate.
i own a couple of wee 2t's & i still find it amusing when i see the reactions of others, when i scream past at 10000+rpm
cheers,
