Bike is a CB650F

Brake fluid is dark and over 2 years old.

Can I replace the fluid using the normal, non-ABS procedure or will I screw something up?

Thanks

Just bleed as normal its fine, there is only a tiny amount of fluid in the abs servo, you could if you wanted bleed as normal, go out for a ride and activate the abs a few times to get the fluid out and then rebleed again if you really want too. Thats what i do.

Riding the motorcycle won't bleed the air out of the ABS pump. The easiest thing to do is not to let the fluid drop below the reservoir while you change the fluid, then bleed as normal. Just do not drain dry the system.

If you do get air in the system (you let the fluid drop too low), you're going to have to activate the ABS pump with a computer and/or a fuse trick.

Cheers both, just a routine change not letting air in then. Will do.
