I got a cheapo from ebay. They're generally stuff that aren't deemed good enough by the OEMs I reckon, I have a dead pixel somewhere but it's much better than a shattered and bashed screen.

+1 for ebay. But have you tried the manufacturer?

Sometimes spare parts get end of life and they just want rid, and so they can be cheaper direct.

once you have the old screen out just search the part number on it in amazon, ebay etc.

Worth seeing if there is an upgrade option available while you are at it, search to see if your laptop or similar models in the range had a higher resolution version available from new.

You might need to upgrade the ldvs cable as well but they are cheap enough.

Pointless buying a 720p screen when a 1080p one is only a couple quid more.
