Boss suggested I go home at 3 today, instead of 5.
She owed me 2 hours and 40 minutes cos I keep having to stay late.
Result.
Now she only owes me 40 minutes
Had to go some to get the most important of my work done before I left, and had to leave one thing not-done, which I would rather have overseen myself, but shit happens: hometime is home time, and it was Friday.
Home by 4.15, asleep on the sofa by 4.20 ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life. |

Met Fisty, Mrs Fisty and Pork Chop yesterday and had a quick drink and natter with them. Couldn't stay ages as
Gracie was getting restless because we'd already been at the pub for a while before they arrived. A gentleman indeed
and a pleasant chat it was too. Must repeat the experience soon, maybe a Sunday lunch there? Their Sunday dinners are
like at home Sunday dinners and plenty of it too. If you order chicken you'll get half a bird on your plate. We can leave
Gracie at home for that one. She can be a pain when foods around. Nice to meet you. ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha

Still reeling from this one... Was due to run out of herb this evening. Had a bit on order for Wednesday but was facing
a dry Tuesday. The last bit I got being a bit weak so I've gone through it a bit too quickly. Took Gracie out for a lash round
the park this evening to ensure a quiet evening and then BOOM! Karmic provenance for getting my arse out of Los Santos
and out with my waggermama. Stopped for a pint after some vigorous frisbee action and found a £15ish deal on the floor.
outside the bar It's not bad either, better than what I was just about to run out of. I should go buy a lottery ticket while I
have the luck about me. ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha

I've not been out of the UK, flew to Scotland once.
How long did you wait to go abroad?
I don't mean in the airport! |

Blimey that is quite late for a first abroad. I thought I was hard done by waiting until I was 23 to visit foreign shores
for a holiday. I took a few cash and carry trips to France in the 80's with my parents, the booze cruise was a fairly new
idea then but they don't count as hols. I went to Ibiza for my first holiday abroad, I chose there cos it was cheap, the
music scene there is deffo NOT my taste. I've been very lucky and have seen a lot of the world since, although our
travels have been curtailed somewhat by the arrival of Gracie. I don't mind, so far I'm digging the UK holiday scene,
not least because I can bring some herb along without worrying about customs. Silver linings and all that.
All that said, I'm best manning for a friend in Thailand next March. So we'll make he most of the house sitter and
smash the all inclusive and the sunbathing while someone else is trudging through the cold and mud with Gracie.
Have a great time, you'll remember this one, good or bad, for the rest of your life. So make sure they are great memories. ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha

It's sad that your first flight had to be on the 2nd worse airline in the world. When you get the chance, fly somewhere with someone decent. ____________________ Triumph Trophy Launch Edition |

Thanks, yeah, so far it's been a blast.
The plane journey was an experience I'll NEVER forget. As the plane was taxied to the runway I thought "meh, that wasn't so bad, dunno why people are so afraid"
Then, I was met with a sudden blast of acceleration and a sudden climb into the sky, the feeling of that was a very weird and awesome experience, not felt a head rush like that since I was s teenager with my first cigarette.
The landing was just as amazing, I have a barometer app that was keeping track of the pressure and I was watching it climb back up to 1000 Mb from the 720 Mb that we had in the sky.
Me and Mrs fretgrinder are on our second day here and so far we're enjoying ourselves very much. The food and drink is nice, the people are friendly. The humidity, last night was worse than the UK, but today we've been met with a nice sort of 'enveloping' type of heat. I was always sceptical and sort of naive to the 'different type of heat' that everyone was always talking about, so now I understand, it's very much the sort of thing that you have to experience for yourself.
It's safe to say we might very well return here again next year. ____________________ Yamaha MT-09

Arrived today. Is a really decent bit of kit. Haven't had anything by Ixon before. The fit is superb too. This ones
a keeper. There was a little mark on the front which turned out to be a dead bug stain and removed easily with a baby wipe.
I can't quite believe it's this good for what I paid. ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha

That's it. One step at a time. Next time, you could consider getting out of the plane at your destination

That might just be a wise choice though. They probably know Nobby and Ste live there ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017

I think I just had my best day of the year. Riding my bike and walking in the Lake District fells in beautiful sunshine, and being mid week, not too busy there.
What really made it for me was that my fitness training has clearly started to pay off. I didn't feel any problems on the steep and rugged path I did today, had loads of energy still when I got home. I am back to a position where I can clamber around the fells without health concerns ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017
