I used to have a pair of British Army Proboots (these ones) and they've served me well for the 8 years I've owned them.

Unfortunately the sole is now beyond repair and I need a new pair of boots. Ideally I'd buy the same ones again, but they seem to have very limited availability. Does anyone have any recommendations of a similar style? Basically army boots that can also be used for biking, goretex and waterproof.

Or Austrian, the better ones of all these have padding round the top.
You can wear any of these almost anywhere and good to walk in too.

I've got British goretex extreme cold weather boots (Marine boots), I wear them for my commute.

Really thick sole which helps my midget legs, plus they are comfy and supportive. I don't do a huge amount of walking/hiking in them but they are pretty comfy once broken in. Never had a blister or had them rub. Mine weren't brand new, but were surplus boots with minimal wear, I'd estimate them being worn a few of times at most prior to me. Think they were £60

This.

These are an absolute must for winter riding. Used to use them for trips down the motorway in 5 degree weather with winter socks. Didn't even feel the cold, which is worse at speed. Highly recommend these.

Or altbergs if you can stand the price and the 4 month lead time.

I got some Altberg Hoggs this year and they are super comfortable and, following yesterdays run down the M74, I can confirm they are totally waterproof too.

Yikes, that's expensive.

Can't really justify that when these Proboots cost me £40 and have lasted me 8 years.

I'll have a look at those ECW boots, they look decent.

Cheers
