My old muffs went crusty after a few years of good use so when I took them off this summer I binned them. After recently riding in the rain and having soggy gloves for the next couple of days, I guess its time to put away the sunnys and start thinking about prep for the winter.

As they did so well last time I was going to get the TUCANO R363X again. Everywhere seems to have them for £47 for the "with barends" model apart from some euro sites who seem to have them for £10 less.

Has anyone seen them cheaper in the UK recently? Sports bikes direct my usual go to don't seem to stock them. Amazon looked to have some for cheap but then it was £16 delivery..

When I got mine I struggled to find a decent discount. Worth the money though.

Just while I am on the subject of winter prep... I have managed without heated grips thus far but I am thinking about investing in them this year although last year might have only been so bad as my muffs had holes in.

Looks like the Oxford ones are about £58 but to be honest I normally find Oxford stuff a bit laking in quality or finish. R&G do some that are £30ish but with some mixed reviews, does any one have experience with both?

Interested also. My 1100 will need new grips soon so am also thinking of the heated grip route - to compound with the muffs.
