Hi there

I know 3 types of Bandit engines.
1) 400 16 valve with adjustable tappets at In and Ex.
2) 400 16 valve with shims at In and tappet adjusters at Ex' Also 3 cam lubes at inlet and 1 cam lube at Ex.
3) My VC 400 16 valve with shims at In and Ex. Also 3 cam lubes at In and 3 cam lubes at Ex.
I have a Manual that I downloaded from the net, but only show adjustment procedure and specs for In and refer me back to older model for Ex adjustment with tappet settings.
I need the specs and procedure for Ex cam valve settings with shims.
Can anybody help me with this.
Thanks
Paul

Thanks for the Manual.

Page:11-19 GSF 400vv (97-model)
For inspection & adjustment of exhaust valve clearance, refer to GSF 400 Service Manual.(Paragraph second * on top of page.

EXHAUST VALVE CLEARANCE (cold) 0,20-0,25mm.

And then it's the Inspection & Adjustment Procedure for Inlet cam.

What is the specs for Lo side operating & Hi side operating at the exhaust cam.(Is the sub rocker arm play, Lo side clearance) and (Hi side clearance) the same specs from intake.
And, must I use Exhaust side valve clearance given on top of page, as the LO side clearance at Exhaust?

Thanks
Paul
