Can anyone recommend or warn against any in particular?

We will be travelling from the South East and not going by bike.

I'm interested in which ones are generally good (or bad) for spectating, atmosphere, getting around etc.

Cheers.

Not been myself, but all the commentators and pundits say Mugello is the one to go to, great atmosphere, good viewing etc.

Montmelmo - Great track, good covered stands and very handy for Barcelona.

I've always fancied Brno for some reason, probably the beer.

Been to Brno, great transport facilities and cheap.
Been to Catalunya, grandstand seats very cheap, no alcohol allowed in or on site. People queuing up for non alcoholic beer was a bit weird and be prepared for a very long walk if going by train.

San Marino, Catalunya or Mugello.

You cannot go wrong with any of those events.
