I'm looking into getting a rucksack made, but it probably has to be completely custom. I've decided on the design although I can't find anywhere nearby open to the idea, I have glanced alibaba for clues but as well as time and shipping costing a bit, most items have a MOQ in double digits.

I just need a reasonably priced sample template.
Any tips?

I don't know how to break this to you.

Are you sitting down?

I did the following.

Typed:

'Custom Bag Makers UK' into the Google Well.

And low and by-fuck this was returned.

The rucksak is for the power supply and ECU to drive and control the WPM (Wipes Per Minute) depending on DPS (Drops Per Second) in the Visor Module.

Right - small change of direction here.
I was thinking last night of the music magpie advert which sells your old crap for you by app.
This morning I saw an advert on TV for this new thing:
https://www.vinted.co.uk/

It turns out my misses uses a similar app:
https://www.depop.com/

So i'm wondering, what are the pros and cons?
Anybody here heard of or got partners that use them?

Music Magpie is completely different to vinted and depop. Razz

Vinted and depop just look like the latest attempts by people to start the next eBay or facebook marketplace.

Would use music magpie. Would never use sites / apps like vinted or depop.

Interesting.

I found another one:
https://en.shpock.com/

Aren't they all the same thing?
What's the benefit of using ebay or facebook over these apps?

Some people (lots of) don't mind walking round charity shops and there's no shortage of them, how much do people value the convenience of tapping an app to get something sent, over dawdling round town once a week/month and carrying bags home?

Yes, they pretty much are all the same thing. Laughing

If you use eBay then your item is available to a lot more people than if you use some app. Same with faceache for sale groups and marketplace but you get a lot of idiots of facebook compared to eBay. Laughing

Incidentally, I've never used any of the random for sale apps so they could be amazing and I'm writing them off just because they're not eBay. Laughing

eBay is more trusted than random apps, if something you buy on eBay doesn't arrive then it's easy enough to sort out. Suppose if you pay using paypal when buying something on a random app then that will be easy to sort out any problems but I'd still be more confident using eBay.

Everyone wants their selling site / app to become the next eBay but being realistic, that's not going to happen.

Meh, eBay is just straight forward and easy.

I found their app really annoying with it's notifications, requirements for an account etc. Didn't seem to offer that much more over the rather castrated gumtree.

Suppose it's a very fair point, I guess it's trendy to be all artiste these days and not feed the corporate logo of ebay etc, personally I know where I stand with established sites but they don't do (or have room for) what I was planning.
It seems clothes recycling and the lack of is a huge problem today, if there's an easy way to reduce while profiting then it's worth a push.

Which aspects do you see as an issue?

I thought it went on in considerable amounts - both UK to UK and UK to third world countries. (To the point some are effectively trying to ban it as it's killing local industries, with the influx of cheap clothes from places like here!)
