I don't know, but: look on the crankcase, possibly below and to the front of the CVT cover, for a vertically flat area of the alloy casting that has a number stamped into it. That's your engine type.

Yes they are
I did one up for one of me lads

https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=319432

and found
they're all made by the same Znen factory and only differ cosmetically.
They use the GY6 type engine

IIRC Some of them are called
YiYing Tommy
Lexmoto Valencia
DB125T
Tommy Retro
Aurora

That's what I suspected, my yiying has z rattle I suspect is small end, it's easier dropping a new engine then paying to have it fixed, but I'm not sure which way to go.
What issues might I have dropping in a db125, or even a lexmoto

Thanks

No I haven't checked the cam chain, the noise is more akin to starter clutch, of variate, the noise is more noticeable on the right by the stator, this suggests it could be the starter clutch, I haven't checked it yet.

I had the clutch casing off, the variate seems to be noisy although the sound seems loud at the other side. In going to replace it and see if I'm right.

Thanks
