wonder if anyone can help, ive recently had a issue with my moped when it cut out and wouldnt start again while riding.

its had a complete engine rebuild and the set up of the parts are
mallossi 70cc kit
jaksil gear up kit
3g rollers with polini plate
derestricted stage 6 exhaust
tnt tuning race crank
tnt tuning 17.5mm carb with open KNN air filter
mallossi reeds
stage 6 clutch

when i was riding it to work it seemed perfectly fine however on my way back it kind of coughed up then died on me, all the parts above are brand new and the carb has a 75 main jet in it. already checked that the engine is not siezed. petrol and oil mix is all getting through the carb piston returns fine and all bearings and seals are fine as well all compresson is more than enough, the spark is strong and timed correctly. so its giving me a bit of a headache just wondered if anyone has had this problems before after a engine rebuild and what the solution is.

Hmmm compression is enough? bet its partially seized and done a ring from experience. Strip the top end and have a look, takes about 10 minutes.

Temporary seizure methinks too. You'll still probably have compression but the rings will be nipped into their groove somewhere.

Have you had the barrel off or looked into the ports?
