Hi all

Here they are

https://www.mcia.co.uk/admin/images/uploaded_images/[statistics_378]Press%20Statistics%20201809.pdf

Pretty much continuing the trend, of 51cc-125cc doing well, the 126-650's doing really well, over 1ltr, pretty stagnant, the rest, no so good. However, overall, comapred with car sale, pretty astounding !! Car new registrations dropped by 20% year on year, motorbike new registrationsup 2% year on year

After ages in the doldrums, what has propelled Suzukis rise up the table?

I'm guessing the gixxer 125?

Looks pretty much how I see it out there. Lots of small commuters still being sold, maybe not like at the financial crash peak, but maybe because of Brexit faltering and concerns?

The rest of bikes is pretty much the over 40's born again and repeat business where adventure and tall half faired bikes like Tracers, Z1000SX Africa Twins and Multistradas etc are king.

Who's buying daft WSB ready bikes? Pretty much just a very select few freaks that are die hard repeat owners and that's it.

Overall it still doesn't sound like the bike sales industry is getting bigger or more exciting or relevant.
