Head of Russia's military spy agency accused over Salisbury attack dies after illness at 63

The head of Russian military intelligence, which is accused of orchestrating the Salisbury Novichok attack, has died.

Igor Korobov, Chief of Russia's GRU military intelligence agency, died on Wednesday after "a serious and long illness," Russian news agencies reported, citing the defence ministry.

The 63-year-old's death comes after a series of embarrassments for the secretive organisation, for which he was reportedly berated by President Vladimir Putin.

And the Daily Mail says that "Novichok spymaster DEAD: Russian GRU chief blamed for Salisbury attack and downing MH17 dies aged 63 after 'a long and serious illness'

Last month, Korobov was said to have been in 'sudden ill health' after a dressing down from Russian President Vladimir Putin over 'deep incompetence' shown in the Salisbury poisonings and other international operations."

The EU did to make it look like Russia did it, to strengthen the case against Russia.

No it was NASA in an attempt to derail the Iranian gas pipeline deal, because the surveying of the project by non controlled agencies would have revealed the Earth was flat, something NASA can't allow.

Now if you'll excuse me I've just had a text inviting me for tea and Polonium with a "Russian" business man.

Conveniently for this thread, it appears that there has been no mention of the suspicious death, in Oct, of Saak Karapetyan, the Russian prosecutor, investigating the Skripal, Litvinenko and the Trump/Russia cases.
Died in a helicopter crash, although there are claims that the pilot had taken two bullets to the head.
Saak Karapetyan was also the suspected source for many awkward leaks.

Nothing to see here, move along now. Rolling Eyes

If the pilot was shot twice in the head, yer' man probably did die in a helicopter crash. Can't fault the Russians for honesty here!

I can see a problem with that ^ statement.

Or are you suggesting that after he died in a helicopter crash, he was then shot twice in the head? Are you saying in fact, that if one dies in a helicopter crash, it follows that they will be shot twice in the head?

I'm so easily confused Laughing
