hi all

looking for some adjustable aftermarket levers for the CBR, any recommendations? I have small hands (medium or large gloves) so sometimes find it difficult to throttle and cover front brake at same time in situations where I want to

I have some cheapo chinese pazzo knock offs (not shorties, full length ones) on my CBR600RR, and they are quite nice. They work for what I want, and unlike the shorties I don't miss the end when suddenly grabbing a handful of brake. I've heard some stories of badly made ones causing accidents and stuff, but these seem OK. Came from ebay, cost about £18 and took about six weeks.

Got a nice set of shorties for my MT09 from here. No doubt also chinese made but I'd sooner deal with a UK seller,
particularly in the event of not being 100% satisfied. The chinks are experts at taking deliberately misleading photos
of the crap they flog on ebay, and it's the gweilos own job deciphering their pidgin like delay tactic responses in the likely
event of a problem with shoddy goods.

I had chinese Spazzos on my CBR (same model as yours). Cost £15 but they needed a bit of fettling to fit right. On the clutch side there was a little pokey out tooth to activate the clutch switch that was a bit too big and needed filing down so that the lever wasn't held back a little.

Can see the tooth on the bottom left of this image:

Took about 10 minutes, filed maybe 0.5mm of metal from the front of the tooth. Just file away until the lever sits flush against the lever mount.

get some cheapo ones.i would avoid the ones with adjustable lever length(not because they wont fit just because they look shit)

if they fit you will be fine,
if you need to adjust them to fit and you are happy to do it then you'll be fine.
if they dont fit then dont fit em.

people will tell you about how they died because of cheapness.
if you dig into their stories you will find out that they knew they didnt fit right and still went out with them.
find some you like, fit em and move on with life.

Bought some short adjustable ones on eBay for wife's cb1000r, (probably same fit) very reasonably priced (less than a Honda clutch lever). As said, check feedback before committing to buy.

As with any lever you need to check clearance on the brake when fitting. There are a lot of different bikes and master cylinders that these levers fit.

Recommend the ebay folding shorties - not the adjustable length ones, about 15 quid delivered. Only dislike is the red adjusters will turn pink after a few months in the sun..

I had some Chinky full size Pazzo rip-offs for my then ER6F for £16 delivered and they were spot on, in fact far more precision than the standard Kawa parts. A great buy !.

I bought these.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CNC-Adjustable-Foldable-Extendable-Levers-Honda-CBR600-F2-F3-F4-F4i-1991-2007/172291466957

I checked them thoroughly before fitting, and there was no issue with the MBC.
The screw (and bush iirc) from the existing levers is required to be reused.

They're still fine after 18 months and feel so much better than the standard set.

If they are anything like the ones I got for my 6F, and they look like they are, the quality is superb !.
