I once parked a kickstart old British iron on Brighton seafront, and other bikes surrounded it so close, it was like handlebars of two neighbouring bikes touching across the saddle, was a right fiddle to roll it forwards and away Rolling Eyes

By that rationale, these would ensure bikes are appropriately spaced. Local shopping outlet centre has a bike lock and locker for helmets set up, but it costs a few quid to use so most bikes don't use it.

Seems like a good device, I can imagine lots of councils charging to use them though, if a payment method can be figured out.
