Well it's in the list, but it's not the best name, by a long way...

https://shropshire.gov.uk/news/2018/10/gritters-names/

Basil Salty, Spready Mercury, Gritney Spears, Frosty the Snow Van Laughing

I don't feel bad about 'wasting' council tax on this. Thumbs Up

Must be great working for that council. They have the funds to add extra graphics and staff to operate the naming competition. Heck they even have funds for new gritters..

Its my old man who has been applying these decals to some of these gritters. I think the novelty has passed for him.

I looked out my bedroom window this morning (in the 1/2 light that is Scotland) and noticed it was bin-day. The neighbours had the blue bins on the pavement and the bin lorry was minutes away from our road.

I hoi-ed on the tracky-bottoms and a tee-shirt and dragged my bin out.
I got halfway down the path and noticed that it wasn't the 'blue bins' they had out.
It was the 'not-as-blue' bins (with the green lid) day.

Fucking cooncil bastarts have too much time with crayons these days.

They fuck things up just the same as they always did but in colour now.

'like walkers cheese and onion and salt and vinegar crisps but with bins instead'

Some crisp factories use up what they have at the end of the day. Only salt and vinegar packaging left but the only thing coming out the line is tomato flavour? Meh we'll bag them and sell them in the factory shop to staff.
I've had such crisps in wrong bags and it's the wrongest thing I've ever tasted.

Aww... don't start me.

Obviously no one at Walkers knows anything about crisps.
But the parent Co. 'Lays' call them Chips. Haven't a clue.

Like calling a Marathon A Snickers. Rolling Eyes
