Meanwhile on Android extra space can be added using a microSD for the following prices:
64GB = £12
128GB = £24
200GB = £46
256GB = £80
400GB = £100
Wink

Irrelevant to my use case, I've never filled a phone. Music is streaming, I don't take many photos and never take any video.

This was also one of the reasons I was pro-Android - stupid Apple, can't change the battery, can't upgrade the memory. But then realised I did neither of those with any of my Android phones.

What will rule out any iPhone in future though is the lack of a 3.5mm jack as that's one thing I use all of the time. That's a deal breaker, but as above, I don't need to think about it for a while yet and I wouldn't be surprised if Android follows the same route. Thumbs Up

Yep. I think you can get adaptors but still. I had a Motorola years ago that used the mini usb port for audio, it was a stupid idea then and it still is.

Remember when they took the floppy drive out of their Macs and everybody said it would never catch on?

I thought it would be a big thing but it turned out I don’t miss it. My car has a USB stereo input so I don’t need my phone there. The phone comes supplied with lightning connector earphones for general use and if I wanted anything different, Bluetooth earphones are cheap enough now anyway. I’m not an audiophile, so I won’t notice the difference between any earphones I’m ever likely to use.

No Smile Floppy discs were shite, the 3.5mm jack isn't.

I'm not an audiophile either but I like using the same pair of headphones on my computer, then my phone without having to use an adaptor Confused I thought Apple were known for stealing good ideas?
