I must be one of the lucky ones then, back in the HDD days all my drives were Seagate. Cool

Oh BTW, the price I paid for this new drive was £134, not bad considering last year I paid the same for a Crucial 525GB drive..

It's a good time to get new SSD's....

And a year before that I paid £80 for a 525GB Crucial drive Smile Last year was more a bad time, prices now seem to be only slightly lower than 2016 (a fiver less for the equivalent model).

A 190amp stick welder, had a quick go on a lump of old angle iron to make sure it works.

75 quid delivered. Slightly more than Id normally spend on an as-new rear, and I wont need it for atleast 6 months** but Id like to try a road 5.

** Roadtec 01 is fitted with a lot of tread left, however my last started to feel icy when the weather got cold, and then had a puncture. I wanted a spare incase this feels the same.
