Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere? I can't find it anyway but it might be of interest to some.
This gives a rough idea as to how many vehicles are left in the UK.

How many left relies on the exact make and model of bike being recorded in the format it was meant to be recorded on the registration document. Motorcycle dealers are even lazier than car dealers it seems, and so my KR1S for example is just registered as "Kawasaki".

Others are registered as KR1S, KR-1S, KR1-S, KR1-C3, KR250, KR1-250, KR1S-250 ad infinitum.

So, it's not accurate, and it likely never will be accurate. Sorry.

With a bit of patience you get something approaching a figure I’d say.
For instance to find how many Ducati Monster 900’s are around I typed in just Ducati then flicked through the list and added together the 900M and M900 figures. I ignored the M900 Dark and other variants that didn’t interest me. I wouldn’t say it’s perfectly accurate but it’s a ball park figure? Obviously there’s less models in the Ducati range to filter through than say Honda...
