In 3 weeks the monitor will be 6 months old, that's partly why I'm getting anxious as I don't want to end up with a partial refund.

Raised a PayPal case yet? There's a 180 day limit.

Just to add my experience in...

I go through a high turnover of laptops through my business, ever Acer I've ever ordered has needed to be repaired in some way.

Charging port knackered
Battery kaput
Keyboard broken

But the main issues have always been the lack of cohesion between the hardware they put in - and the software they install on top. There seems to be little or no testing done to make sure it all works together correctly.

I buy Asus now. No issues from the last two I've bought this year.

Whereas I've had 3 Acers which have been no problem at all.

I thought it was more for if you don't receive an item or order a laptop and get a potato type thing.

If you want to get your money back, open a dispute on Paypal now and escalate it to a claim ASAP.

Well done you. You win the Acer pot luck challenge. 👍

At just over a 60% success rate based on the small subset of yours and my experience, I'll stick with Asus. 👍

I ended up doing this Thumbs Up Acer returned the monitor to me still faulty (after the latest repair I mentioned) so I contacted Box, who basically didn't want to know, I then opened a PayPal dispute and they accepted the return but were still being ar$eholes so I escalated it and PayPal refunded me.

I won't be buying Acer again, I won't be using Box again, but I will be using PayPal for an extra level of buyer protection. Without them I'd have been a bit fooked Neutral
