Some bikes have a piece of plastic over the headlight - and it's attached with what almost look like stickle-brick type 'fastening'. Small pieces of this fastening appear to be glued on to the light at its four corners, then I'm guessing the cover itself (often 'smoked' or blacked-out) is, I assume, pressed on to the light.

I want to put a cover on the light of my '11 KLX - but afaik, there's no specific KLX-formed cover, so I can't really see a problem with making something. A guy got roosted on the last ride I was on and his light appeared to have taken a bit of damage - nothing too bad, but it got me thinking. The rider in front of him wasn't being a dick so far as I could tell - I think he just gave it a bit too much and stuff flicked up.

You can cut acrylic using a jigsaw with a thin blade. Use slow speed cause it melts and fuses to the blade if it gets too much heat and fcuks thing up. Embarassed
