Some of you freaks continue to use 2 wheels during winter....some of you may like to meet up and talk to a bike journo about it.

Ladies & gentlepongs, if you're a winter rider (any bike), can you meet up at a cafe (TBA) one day next week (TBA) for a chat, breakfast & pics for RiDE mag? If so, DM a phone no, yr bike, where you are & summary of winter riding habits. Thanks x a mill

You could also email Simon *whaterveryouwant@frontendchatter.com

*literally anything

I don't think that the enthralling story of how I put the lining into my textiles will take up much copy. Maybe I should wait until I've gone to the trouble of getting my lidl balaclava out of the kitchen cupboard.

Getting cold, getting wet, at night getting run over by cars because its dark and they cant see you, during the day blinded by the mystical shiny orb in the sky when occasionally it appears.

But still enjoying it....some of it...occasionally. Smile

I subscribed to Bike and Ride (What Bike prior to being Ride) back between '96 and '04. Dude probably owes me a Tea.

Thing is, its December the 4th already. I know I'll regret saying this, but winters haven't been bad in the South for nearly 20 years. And the clothing is vastly better than back then.
Been a long while since had to stuff copies of MCN down my front for the commute.

No, usually only have to get the warm gear on, around February, for the most part. The snow last year, was something of a 1 off.. We don't really have cold or harsh winters as such in England & Wales particularly, granted Scotland can get a bit nippy for slightly longer periods of time..

The most annoying aspect of 'winter' is sending the gritters out needlessly, yes, even when rain is bloody forecast !! - Have roadslt, must use..

I don't even have the thermal lining in my jacket yet
