OK with the visor down though I expect (but I don't like riding with it shut unless I have to, bad weather etc.). |
You can buy eye drops from places like Boots to help keep the eyes moisturised.
But to answer your question yes. Riding with the visor cracked open is uncomfortable, but a lot less of a pain and far safer than riding with glasses would be this time of year. When I rode with glasses in the past they fog up, and I felt like I was going to rear end someone because I couldn't see through them; from then on I only ever carry them as backup, and almost would never wear them in anything but dry conditions.
Visor gave up today and I ended up riding with better vision 3/4 open than with it closed, until it rained and the visor cleared the more I went on; glasses probably would have made me do a U-Turn a few roads away from my house. ____________________ The do it all, T̶h̶e̶ ̶b̶r̶o̶k̶e̶n̶ ̶o̶n̶e̶,̶ ̶T̶h̶e̶ ̶b̶i̶g̶ ̶l̶u̶m̶p̶,̶ ̶C̶h̶o̶n̶g̶ ̶N̶o̶o̶d̶l̶e̶ |

Fortunately I'm freakishly long sighted, so even though my eye sight is deteriorating I can still read motorway signs etc way before most people.
dunno what I'll do if I need to wear them on a bike
I need them to read, can't see anything except the book / laptop in front of me with reading glasses on, bump into things if I forget to take them off |
