Shit Focus

Is there perhaps a car forum where you can join in the circlejerk with like minded people who think a focus is fast. We get it, you're not a biker anymore. I think BCF has been telling you for years you're not really one of us. Do you think you could find something entertaining to post about?

Unsure how that relates to growing up, but OK Laughing But it does show how childish you actually are.

I just pray for banhammer daily. Stinkwheel should start enforcing;

This is not 4chan, it is a bike forum. There is much less moderation here than you might find on similar sites, but there are limits... If you go out of your way to find out where exactly the line is, chances are you'll find yourself on the other side of it signing up for a new username.

Your obsession with Tom Cruise is slightly worrying. But not all that surprising.

Wholey Arse Biscuits that was scary....

Been fitting new sprockets and chain today aaaaaaaaannnd!!!

Right, well I can confirm unequivocally... It was the chain...

And I was a very short ride away from loosing my left leg...

For some reason my old chain is a split link. Not sure if thats why it started to fail. But it wasnt something I noticed on a quick visual check earlier in the week... But a closer look now. Basically, the link was warped/bent the banging noise I heard was the chain link hitting the metal shroud around the front sprocket, theres a couple of grooves there now...

Ive been doing short but 60-70mph stints on the bike all week with this progressively getting worse.... I honestly think it was a really short way away from totally failing and flying off and cutting my leg off!

Anyway disaster averted... The DID chain i got came with both a split link and rivet link... For the moment ive put the new split link on, because i was running out of light... Still got to properly align the back wheel, so it still on the stand till the morning, I might yet change my mind and just put the rivet link on. Even though our riviter is a bit wank.

I know that normally big bikes should be rivited. But whats youre opinions on a 650 using a split link?

ER6F? Fine, I'd not worry unles you're hamfisted and like to slap open the throttle repeatedly.

While I normally rivet chains, my VFR came with a split link, and the chain and sprockets were pretty much brand new. I'll replace it with a riveted link when I replace the chain.
