In my opinion I don't think they'll do too well cause they've never done motoGP or superbikes etc. before - I think?
They should start off in the 125's or 250's then build up to the GP if they are successful in the others.

I'll rephrase the question... KTM are joining motoGP in the 125 and possibly the 250 classes, they plan to join the 4 strokes by 2005. How well will they do? and what do you think of KTM joining as a player in MotoGP? Smile

good look to em, they dont have the experience of HONDA and others but they do have some quality bikes. they seem to beat me at the lights anyway!. I can see a bottom finish this year and maybe a 1 or 2 places up next. it depends on what riders they use as well, and how much ££££ they put into the races each year. small investment = failure large investment = better chance

Hi

Well, good luck to them. The more variaty the better.

The 125 class is very competitive, with even the best rider only making a small difference. Gilera came back and did very well (OK, they took over the Derbi team, but the Derbi team was fairly new), yet Italjet havent had any great success

All the best

Keith
