Hi,

I have a 2008 Beta Alp 4.0. I'm wondering if anyone has seen an issue with the clocks on these before. When I press the button on the bars or the clocks the screen only flickers and doesn't scroll through the modes.

I'm trying to troubleshoot the issue but not getting very far. I'm not sure if these clocks are the same as on other makes/models.

tried replacing the battery?

There is probably a CR2302 or similar type of battery inside the clock, there is on my Beta Xtrainer, undo a couple screws, lift clock out, on the back there is a battery compartment.

Cheers, that makes sense. Can't believe I didn't think of that. I just mentioned that to my Dad who owned the bike before me and he says he replaced the battery when he go the bike. It's 2008 but still has less than 1000 miles on the clock. It's spent a lot of time not moving.

Oh, well. I took the clocks apart but there's no battery in there. Back to the drawing board.

None. I thought there might be a CR2032 type battery in the clocks but there isn't.
