^^ It's beautiful and probably a joy to drive but there's better tech in a modern Honda Civic. 12 years is a pretty long
time in car tech terms. That's the problem with all this tech in cars. It dates them as quickly as mobile phones date and
for the exact same reason. It's hard to buy anything that isn't laden with gizmos these days. The Audi I had was a prime
example the nav/entertainment unit was a £1400 option when the car was new, once the car was 6 years old the nav
display and interfaces for the stereo made it feel dated for starters it had no touchscreen technology, so inputting the post
codes was a chore. It was always gonna happen when the digital age kicked in the door of car manufacture.

It has to be an big estate car for that reason however I do like some of the choices thrown up.

Perhaps a tow hitch and trailer for those times.

I do like a tow hitch anyway, you can bump park in the supermarket without doing any damage to my car. A necessity if wifie goes shopping in it. Wink

Oh yeah, having one on the work van was handy (Embarassed), except for the increased risk of a 'love tap' in traffic (yes people really do get that close Rolling Eyes).

If you are willing to spend £15k on an OLD Bentley, why not get a newish doublecab L200?

You can get a 15/16 plate one for that money with <40k on the clocks. Probably still in warranty.

I had a horrible feeling that would be the consensus. Cash is not king anymore.

I'll try it on though, maybe they would rather shift something between Christmas and new year rather than sit on their fannys getting fuck all in.

Another local company have this

Newer, V6 but done 80thou miles.

Maybe play one off against the other.

Tell them you're interested in credit, get them to give you a good deal when you play wonga-esq interest rates, then repay the loan after a week. You need to read the small print for this to work though.

Sounds like a proper motor to me!
And nice to see someone not scared off by all the hype and press shit that diesels are the devil. I say to people that believe the crap that diesels are evil and will kill everyone that they should try owning a two stroke. You can kill the planet a billion times quicker with a stroker than any diesel!

Oh and I agree with Grrr about tech and electronics in cars. 10years makes everything out of date much more so than it did 10-15years ago.

That's why I don't like or want any tech/driver aids/infotainment in my cars anytime soon.

In fact as I get older I'm getting a real hard on for a late model TVR, but it'd have to be one without a rotten chassis. No PAS, ABS, or TC and a 4-5litre NASP V8 sound just what I need for my next run about.
