Mine was different though. My Direct Debit went up because the two water companies took the opportunity to start charging 6 months in advance for standing charge, when they switched to the thier joint billing platform.

The problem was, that they sent a letter promising this would not increase the bill, then promptly whacked 2 X £30 standing charges on top of the first bill. In doing this Southern Water netted £11,000,000 for their shareholders, for no outgoing costs. They have admitted to 400,000 customers affected.

They've credited me for complaining but won't automatically refund every customer, nor revert their standing charge to how it was. The regulator and CC Water don't want to know. It now means that I'll never be square and they'll always owe me at least 6 months standing charge, until either I die or leave the area. Don't forget DD customers already pay in advance, so their payments cover the bill immediately on production, so they are always 6 months in credit for standing charge now.

My energy deals run out in a few weeks. I'm not switching until the very last minute as prices have shot up since my deal was fixed. I'll see an increase of around 15-20% on the cheapest alternative when I switch.

A problem in the world that you haven't managed to ascribe to immigration or islam

Allah truely smiles on BCF this wonderous day

People who can't spell "licence". It's even written on the thing. "Licence". Not "license".

Licence is a noun, license is a verb. Before learning to drive, you apply for a provisional driving licence, but the DVLA must license you to drive.

There, straight from the googles mouth. Cool

Young lads committing suicide. A mate of my eldest hanged himself in his bedroom on Saturday night. His poor parents found him on Sunday morning.

I'm so sorry for the loss. It always leaves so many unanswered questions for everyone.
My Bro hung himself in the lead up to Xmas - plenty money, no debts, great job etc. The fallout is unimaginable.

I know it could never catch everyone needing it but actual help from mental health services is now almost non-existent. Northumberland NHS have outsourced their mental health services with the result that the organisation running it are being paid for numbers processed and not actual help given.
I know someone who was brutally raped and placed under the care of them - took 14 months to be dealt with and when it came to the appointment they'd been placed into group therapy - they were expected to tell a room full of strangers about their attack..

Aye. I don't know his parents other than to say hello to, but I do know his girlfriend's family very well. I know they are absolutely distraught because whilst they knew he was down, they had no idea how low.

Whilst I don't know for certain, my lad doesn't think he was on medication so he may not have even entered the system.

Yesterday, I was in Prague (business trip) and for the way home (355km) I decided to try out the only Czech ''bullet'' train, so I went to the tickets stall, told the nice lady where I wanted to go and by what train, well lucky me the ''bullet'' train (160 km/h, saves you up to 30 minutes on that route) just got technical difficulties and was replaced by a bog standard train with no wifi and seats so uncomfortable, that I still ache today.

I normally use private train companies, because they have lower prices and much higher standard of traveling. Even the cheapest train tickets at the private companies come with free wifi and seats/wagons that were not made 30+ years ago.

My cleaner pulled out the plug on the fridge for no apparent reason, dozy mare Mad

It can't possibly be that she needed the socket for the vacuum cleaner because there's a spare power bank right beside the fridge anyway.

So because I did something similar myself about a week ago, that's now twice in less than a week that the fridge has been defrosted Mad Mad Mad

I've now written FRIDGE and FREEZER in permanent marker on the relevant fucking plugs.

Yet again when I have good shifts, he decides to change my shifts to the worst shifts.
Hmmm? Constructive dismissal seems to spring to mind Confused

This is happening on a regular basis.

Catching the lurgy from a neighbour, doing them a favour. I'm suffering with a stuffed face, achey ears, even my gums ache with the pressure. My nose is like a tap and getting sore now as well. Sniff, blubber, glub ! Sad

We fixed their laptop though. Smile

I've just spent wasted eleven poxy quid on a round trip black taxi ride to my ex's place.

We were supposed to be going to his GP to discuss ... his possible alcohol-induced dementia and ataxia.

So I got a cab from London Bridge to his flat, having texted him to be ready so that we could get the cab driver to take us round to the GP surgery, cos he's a bit doddery on his feet - and the old fool opens the door, shirt sleeves, no coat, and tells me he has already been to the GP.

So while I look livid, and do my WTF act, he's getting his coat off the hook.

What the hell are you doing? goes I
I'm coming with you, goes he, wherever it is you're going to.
I only came over to go to the fucking GP with you and you've already been.
Yes, sez he, I went earlier this afternoon.

Brick Wall
Brick Wall
Brick Wall
Brick Wall
Brick Wall
Brick Wall
Brick Wall
Brick Wall

The cab driver apologised for the waiting time costing so much, and I said, oh its only eleven quid, I've wasted more than that on him in the past, there's a reason he's an ex-husband.

How we laughed.
