So...long time here, but have been away from bikes for a bit. A new project (Transalp) got me training for my DAS.

Took the Mod 1 in December and passed (second time - failed in Nov after stalling bike like a lemon).

Today, took my Mod 2 and passed with no minors. Insured my transalp straight away and went for a nice spin...but lost power and cut out - turns out you need to put fuel in bikes Rolling Eyes Reserve got me home haha!

Used loads of good advice off this forum prior to tests so thank you!

Congratulations... I had a similar experience when I picked up my first "big" bike. Cut out on the way home and I forgot the reserve was there... pushed that fucker a good few miles before I remembered.

How are you finding the extra power? It's a lovely feeling.

Love it - although the Transalp has about 20bhp less than the MT07 I learned on. But I fit it so much better at 6.3! I have so much more balance on the Transalp and can actually use the mirrors Very Happy
