Hi all it’s been a while and I’ve done a quick search but couldn’t find anything that answers these so please bear with me. I have an Er6f and have the stock Dunlop tyres on her, but they are so swuirly that on any type of corner thats not 100% dry and smooth her back end squiggles.... now I’m not a nervous rider and I didn’t have any issues with my xj6 which had Bridgestone tyres.

I’m considering getting a full new set and wondered if anyone has any feedback on this. For example has anyone had Bridgestones on their Er6? The other recommendation I’ve had is to get some pilot 5s

So any experiences would be appreciated.

I also want to raise the handle bars a little, someone suggested some renthal bars. Can anyone help me with how to get the right ones?

Thanks in advance

You can get bar risers on eBay that will lift the standard bars. Depending how how far you raise them you may need to change brake lines to longer ones, maybe not if it's just a small lift.

As to tyres the Michellin Pilot Road 4 or Road 5 work well on the er6. The Metzeller Roadtec 01 is just as good as the PR4 with a slightly sportier profile. I can't compare to the road 5 as I've not tried them yet.

I fitted pilot 4's to my xj6
Massive difference have no lack of confidence in them
The bike was a like a new machine from the off
I know it's not a er6f but hope it helps
