I realise not everyone is a successful big bollocks when they get married, but why don't guys insist on a prenup'? In the very unlikely chance I ever get married I'll be insisting on it (unless she's rich Laughing), even though you hear of stories particularly over here of them being ignored in divorce settlements Neutral

P.S. my thread I can go off topic Smile

They aren't legally enforceable in the UK.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

'Prenuptial agreements are not currently legally binding in England. However, a Judge is likely to take a prenuptial agreement into account when overseeing a case and is likely to uphold it, as long as certain safeguards have been met.'

That was my understanding, I heard of one where the judge ignored the prenup' cos there were kids involved, and another one where... I can't remember why Smile

A bit like that woman who was written out of her parents will (they left it all to charity) who contested it and got a third of the estate iirc.

All I can deduce is don't get married and don't have kids Thumbs Up

And don't fit a combi boiler

Legally enforceable or not, insisting on a prenup is another way of saying that I don't completely trust you.

That's a tricky one to sell. Laughing
